Welcome! Looking for a loyal, loving companion? Well we may be able to help. Our pups are bred to be just that. Our bitches are paired with quality studs from across the state of Maine. We do not keep studs here in an effort to reduce stress during cycles but we do select studs from reputible breeders. All pups are raised in our home around children and other animals.

Large dogs have always been a preference of ours. Great Danes specifically have been that 'shining star'. Several dogs have shared our home with us over the years but it wasn't until we moved to our current home that we finally took the leap. We have not regretted it for a moment. One dane turned into two, and two turned into three. You see where we are going with this?
Our Great Danes are first and foremost members of our family. They live in our home with us and our four children. They sleep in our beds and and hold a strong place in our hearts.
We do not show dogs but believe that those standards are important to meet especially with regards to health and overall conformation. Our dams are brought into our home as companions with hopes that they can be part of our breeding program. We run appropriate testing at 2 years of age to make this decision. If not, they will stay, spayed, as companions only.
We do not keep a stud in our home at this time. This decision has been made for a number of reasons. Primarily, to reduce stress and tension. Not just between the dogs, but also with regards to our own children and family members. That all said, our dams are paired with quality AKC Studs from other reputable Maine breeders.

Es D'Baw Danes pups going to loving and permanent homes is our highest priority.
We also want to protect both ourselves and the buyer from any future issues which is why we have a thorough application and contract.
It is a 'Best for All' approach.

The Puppy application is the first step if you are interested in purchasing one of our pups. You can submit this application directly using the link below.
The contract should be read before submitting your application as the terms of the contract are non-negotiable. The printable contract will be sent to you once your application has been approved.

Es D'Baw Danes co-exists with Es D'Baw Acres Family Farm. We have a few farm animals where we provide for our needs as well as a few other family pets that we share our home with.

Well I am clearly not a Dane. I am a Llasa Apso. I was born in 2009 and have been here since I was 6 months. Mama says I am a bully but really I just keep the big dogs in line.

I was the first Dane here. I am a companion animal only. I was born in 2013. I am 100% American. My Mama says I have an old soul.
Brody
After my family's mastiff Rueger passed away, my big brother was lonely. So here I am. I was born in 2014. I am also a companion only. I am 50% Euro and 50% American. Mama thinks I am a big doof.
Es D'Baw Danes Lady Liberty 'Libby'
I am the first pup to come here that will be having babies of my own. I was born in 2015. I am 25% Euro 75% American. I am solid, beautiful and so sweet.
